What viewers invests when they watch TV is their time.
In other words, time is the currency spent for TV watching.
TiVo changes how much one time one needs to 'spend' to get the same product.
A TV show is thirty minutes long with commercials.
That same TV show is 20 minutes long without commercials.
An hour of normal TV watching costs the viewer 60 minutes. An hour of TV watching on TiVo only costs the viewer 40 minutes.
If a viewer can get the same return, but invest less, isn't this the smart thing to do?
Whether we're talking Wall Street.
