The Difference Between Frequency and Frustration

Seth Godin had a great column today on why more is not always better.
It should be read by every media person and advertiser.

This graphic explains it in regards to frequency.

But Seth also put it brilliantly.

“One brownie makes you happy, a second brownie, maybe a little more. The third brownie doesn't make us happy at all, and the fourth brownie makes us sick.”

Maybe we need to stop running so much advertising.

And start making better brownies.
