CIMM To The Rescue

Since there seems to be some confusion as to all the advances in the digital television marketplace, the Coalition of Innovative Media Measurement, CIMM, has put together a compilation of terms and definitions associated with Set-Top Box data and its measurement.

This is, I'm assuming, to make it easier for the rest of us.

As it was a slow day yesterday, I decided to go though the list. Below are the number of abbreviations associated with Set-Top Box measurement alone.

Since I’ve always believed that you can tell the amount of trouble an industry is in by the number of abbreviations associated with it, more being worse, I have one thing to say.

Ouch.
